For some reason I think OKC wins tonight.....Ibaka is beasting right now...
I don't think the Spurs know what to do right now with the pain being patrolled by the Congo Nightmare.
Going into a game do you really want to pin your hopes on Danny Green carrying you through?  Didn't think so.  Westbrook goes off for 28-6 and there won't be any stupid Get your head in the game KD moments....well I can't guarantee that...because Westbrook is pretty much a nut on the court.....I Don't think I've seen a player be so well spoken and eloquent off the court and be a total wild man on the court....Jordan doesn't count...he was a killer on the court...but he looked calm and cool doing it....he was a BAAAADDD man.

My New thing

So yesterday I was on my old XANGA site and it inspired me to start writing into my blog. Originally, I was going to use this blog to write about bay area sports....that got too depressing too fast. Writing about how your teams suck so much really can make you an alcoholic. So now that I have finished my 12 step program, I decided to hit this blog again..and just talk about general crap..sports...food...work....life.....

So I'd just like to welcome myself back to the blogging world.....and I'm sorry for anyone else who reads this....my world is bizarre

Oh Where Oh where did my niners go....

Exactly what the heck happened this week. 21-0 at the Stick?
Coach Mike might have to follow Coach Childress to the unemployment line and fast.

He is starting to sound like the Situation...."Umm..we have a situation here..and Umm..the Situation is bad...and Umm..the quarterback Situation..and....leader situation"
Pretty much this is what happened.....Coach Sing felt uncomfortable with Troy's free wheeling ways...told the offense..we gonna run the ball.....when the 49ers couldn't run the ball....vs the 30th ranked run defense....and with Troy Smith neutered....we couldn't move the ball at all...also the genius decision to punt the ball on TB's 33 yard line on a 4th and 2 is baffling....I seriously think Snookies life decisions might be better than Singletary's football decisions.....At least Snookie feels satisfied at the end of the night with her decisions.

Is it seriously too early to beg Jim Harbaugh to save us. Would he even want to save us. Can we get a petition to get Eddie back as our owner......We seriously are falling into Cohan levels here with the Yorks as well. The bay area just got rid of one bad owner.....now we have to put up with Jed....

To me the answer is in Harbaugh....he can turn this around..he has a brother in the NFL who knows what it takes to coach int he NFL....he can do it....I mean if Taylor Swift can clean up at the AMA's so can we!

49ers in London......

The 49ers went across the pond and actually won a game this week. The 49ers started the other Smith at QB, and he actually managed to pull out a victory. Not to say it was an aesthetically pleasing to watch Troy Smith play, but he managed to gut out a victory, something one Alex Smith has not been able to do in the past year. In fact, the game changed when the 49ers were down 10-3 and Troy Smith threw up a jump ball for a 38 yd completion down to the 1 yd line. There's something to be said about the play that Troy made....because if Alex Smith had thrown that ball it most certainly would have been picked off. Some people just don't have good luck. Alex is one of those people. Alex Smith is kind of like Kenny in South Park...you want to root for him every week but every week you know what the end result is...the other team killing him....which leaves Frank Gore, Patrick Willis and Vernon Davis yelling "You Killed Alex!".

Although, I do admit it is tempting to see if Troy can win games, Mike Singletary again provided us with an ridiculous quote after the game.

"It's kind of like watching Brett Favre," 49ers coach Mike Singletary said of the 38-yarder. "I don't want to put him in the same light, but it's kind of like watching a Brett Favre pass."

Coach Sing...really? After one start you want to start dropping the Brett Favre references to Troy Smith? Every week I really want to find a reason to support Coach Sing, but he manages to say something stupid every week along the same lines of crazy Jim Mora and his playoff rant and Dennis Green and his they are who we thought they were.

The 49ers D did get torched again as Kyle Orton threw for 369 yds passing and ex-49er Branon Lloyd racked up 169 yds recieving. Both numbers are unacceptable. Frank Gore did accumulate 119 yds rushing, but this is the team that let Run DMC Walk This Way for 4 quarters, so that was expected.

I'm still hoping the 49ers come to their senses and hire a coach who knows X and O's and can motivate at the same time.......maybe a coach down the 101 named coach Jim Harbaugh? I think the 49ers also should be banging down Mike Holmgreens door too as he would love to try to bring back the team he started with back to glory.

Overall the 49ers did win, so I can't be that harsh on them this week. 2-6 with 2 games left vs the Rams and Cardinals and one more vs the Seahawks......dare I sound singletary-ish and say playoffs are still in sight? Probably not.....but its nice to enjoy a win....across the pond

My Quick Hitters

- I think Donnie Walsh might look like the guy in Jersey Shore who got knocked out by Ronnie if he doesn't sign Lebron after those trades yesterday. You can see Lebron re-signing with Cleveland yelling out "ONE SHOT..ONE SHOT KID!"

-Lindsey Vonn is hot...how do we know shes hot...shes wearing 4 layers of clothes and guys are still swooning over her.

-Why is Lebron so annoying now....rapping during games....dancing like he's on soul train....I really hope Kevin Durant gets some help and becomes the face of the NBA...

-So the Rockets essentially got 2 first round picks for trading T-Mac (expiring contract) and Carl Landry (expiring contract). Why did the Warriors release Speedy Claxton again?

-Tiger Woods press conference this morning.....all it was missing was this was sponsored by Ashley Madison.

How am I still a Warriors Fan.....

The second half of the NBA season starts tonight. Why am I not excited..because Im a Warriors fan. The most loyal fan base in the NBA is being put there NBA hell. Our GM (Larry Riley), really isn't a GM. He is the head coach's drinking buddy. Don Nelson our HOF (*COUGH COUGH*) head coach is in mad pursuit of the all-time wins record....which doesn't really matter since his team that he is coaching now has a pathetic 14 wins. Even though, the Warriors don't have the worst record...I feel as if they are in the worst shape...this includes the 4 win New Jersey Nets. I'm not kidding either...I think the Washington Generals would have 4 wins at this point of the season in the Eastern Conference.......At least the Nets have a vision...they are going to build around Brook Lopez, Devin Harris and Courtney Alexander......the W's have no vision..their 2 best players...play the same position and each has the same defiencies in their game.

Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry are great players. Curry looks like what Nellie said he will be...he is the second coming of Steve Nash......but they are both under-sized PG's. If I had to choose...I'd have to say we have to get rid of Monta...why? He's over-paid and there is just too much bad blood there. They fired his mentor (Chris Mullin) for no apparent reason. They wanted to cancel his contract for god-sakes. Monta won't forget that. Monta is being a trooper right now but he knows that this has to happen.

Everyone know's the main problem for the W's is the owner. Chris Cohan is the Charlie Finley of our day...except less inventive......This is coming from a man who didn't want to pick up Coby Karl's contract because 5 of those 10 days would be in the all-star break....ummm..dude..you are an NBA owner..I think you can afford it....or should be able to!

The answer to all our problems is Database Guru Larry Ellison......Ellison badly wants to buy this team...but I think he will take any team...he has a desire to win..look at the Americas Cup which he just won after losing the last time.......Im just waiting for Cohan to do this....to save us........

Hopefully it'll happen soon

Is this crabtree situation for realz?

Michael Crabtree..........
Why has this man not signed?
Everyone who is a 49ers fan has already experienced a wave of emotions with this man. The high when the Raiders mysteriously picked Heyward-Bey over him, leaving him for the 49ers
Now the low, where his entourage and agent has told him that he deserves more than the #10 pick and should be paid #3 pick money........ummmm.....hello?

Can someone explain to me what his entourage is thinking? If Michael Crabtree is Vinny Chase from Entourage, all his advisors are Johnny Drama and Turtle and there is not a Arie or E in sight. They are fillling this kid's head with the idea that he is owed this money....the 49ers are already going over the allotted salary suggestion and giving him #9 money. But nonetheless, his agent Eugene Parker and his friends believe Mel Kiper Jr's draft board is more realistic than the actual draft results itself.

Someone should sit him down and show him the math. 16 million guaranteed. Every game he misses he loses 1/17th of his paycheck. This is money he will NEVER get back. Then he has to look at the reality of it all....if he sits out the year..no team will be allowed to work him out....yeah that screams top 3 pick in 2010. Maybe he would get picked as Mr Irrelevant.....I'm sad to say we might have jut drafted the next Mike Williams......this kid could be out of the league in a couple years just because his friends are idiots and his agent is not looking out for his best interest.

If you drive around the Bay right now.....you'll see 49ers advertisments that say...I WANT WINNERS with Mike Singletary's face on it. Well Mr Crabtree.....you are quickly falling out of that category....
